When you come back from Paradise, you come back a new person.

 Hi there.

I've just come back from my umrah last night. It was really damn tiring. The whole travelling in car for 7-8 hours in the desert sun can really get a little tiresome after a while. My mom swears she's never travelling to Makkah by car again.

I bet my dad was really tired too, since he's the only one who can drive here (he's the dude with the Arab license, hah). I wouldn't want to drive in such horrible weather. We're talking 44 degrees and higher, mates. We're talking about straight highways with no trees (pokok kurmas don't shade you, really) and harsh desert conditions, like the freakin' Serengeti minus the giraffes and lions.

But anyways, I liked the experience. I went to Makkah and Madinah. I visited Masjidil Haram, and Masjid Nabawi, and I also went to Jeddah where my dad's former student belanja-ed us at a hotel. Makanan pelik-pelik pulak tuh, haha. Oh, and I got to touch Kaabah and kiss Hajarul Aswad. That was a really awesome experience, but it was freaking horrifying. I was shoved and pushed around and squished so much that I wasn't sure I'd survive the whole thing. When I finally managed to touch both things and my family and I were at the sides, I just rested my head on my mother's lap and cried. Needless to say, it was a life-changing experience.

People tend to be so different in other countries. I'm so used to Malaysia and manners that the people here just weird me out. Arab, Pakistan, and Iran people among others are so, so rude. Oh my God I sincerely mean it. Well, I hope it's not all of them, but most of them are. They shove past you like you're nothing, they have no respect for other people, they are so..ugh. I'm glad I live in Malaysia. I love Malaysia. Really, after all that, I'd be crazy not to.

My brother's going back to K.L tonight. I'm going to be so bored after this, meh.

Sape mau beli shisha? :p
